The truth is never a lie
Hey loves
So I got a weight loss buddy.
She's a friend from school.
And we gave ourselves 100 days to get to the weight we want to be.
And the winner pays for Cesar salad and lemonade at the Queen.
Yes, I get that I'm not a dog and that I really really shouldn't reward myself with food, but I can't help it really. It gets me motivated.
Oh and at the moment she is 136lb with 172cm height and she wants to get to 122.
I'm sure she'll win, because my goal for May 24th (the end date of the challenge) is 130 from 156.
Oh, well. Participation matters, right?
Except, I don't really go for participation.
In order for me to win, I'd have to eat 700kcal a day.
With my two shakes at 350 that leaves me with 350 for the rest of the day.
I'm not sure if I can manage that for that long.
Oh, and another day my dad said something.
"Honey, you know I always tell you the truth?"
"Yeah, dad?"
"Well, you have a really pretty face insert a grinning me but if you were 25lbs lighter M would chase after you, hell he might even break his neck" insert a gaping fish face from me
Now, THAT's what I call one hell of a trigger, and he didn't even do it on purpose.
You have to love daddy, right?
It's another weigh-in day at the club tonight.
Dressed, after I ate, I am 155.6.
So that would be a 4.4 lb difference in 3 days if my Karma doesn't step in again.
I know she's a bitch, but hopefully she'll be sleeping tomorrow night or something like that.
Oh, and I'm going to Petnica science research center on Thursday.
So I might not be able to post until Monday.
Just letting you know.
Much love <3

That doesn't really seem fair. Whoever loses the most pounds should win, I think. 14lbs has gotta be lost more quickly than 26lb.
ReplyDeleteOh, wtf? Your dad sounds like a bit of an ass. Sigh. I swear people just shouldn't comment on other people's weight/bodies unless asked, it's none of their business anyway.
Try to take care of yourself, yes? If you ask me you'd be better off eating a bit more than 700 cals a day. Considering the length of the challenge, I think it'd be best to choose an intake that you can stick to sustainably to prevent binges/unplanned overeating and to keep your metabolism from going berserk. Consistency is important in my experience, and you'd still lose quite a lot on even 1,000 or more cals a day.
xxxx
It isn't. But that doesn't matter. I don't care that I have almost twice the amount of pounds to lose. I will be thinner than her in the end. I will win.
DeleteMaybe, but I think he means well. I am used to my family commenting on my weight and eating habits and although it can be a little insensitive, it's an awesome trigger.
I know, believe me, I know. But I can't help it. I'm obsessive when it comes to my ambitions and goals. This is both, so you can imagine what happens next.

good luck my lovely and I agree with Bella surely it should be who lost the most pounds or the highest percent of their start body weight?? that way It would be proportionate.. I hope you win <3 lots of love x
ReplyDeleteI will tell you the same thing I told Bella, I don't care, I WILL win either way.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're still on Blogger honey.
